Ethanol: our future fuel or our future famine?
July 16th, 2007 at 04:52 pm by wRitErsbLock in UncategorizedRecently, the price of corn has increased because it is used to make the biofuel ethanol. With all the noise the MSM makes about the price of gas, why are they not screaming louder about the cost of that $4.29 gallon of milk I bought over the weekend? And, if I'm spending $8+ per pound for meat, I want that meat to be veal, not just cow. Why aren't people outraged at the way we're all getting raped in the grocery store? Does anyone even utilize ethanol for fuel? Why are we wasting our valuable corn making ethanol when hardly any vehicles are equipped to run off it? I want my steak at a more reasonable price, and I want to be able to afford a half gallon of ice cream (currently not in my budget because rising milk costs have priced ice cream right out of my grasp) so I can wash my steak down with a milk shake. Their stupid ethanol crusade is going to hurt my family and people in even lower financial brackets than my own. Corn is supposed to be a cheap food that we can buy and fill our bellies. But you're wasting it producing ethanol. You people suck.

Your 2¢
It’s over $4 friggin’ bucks to buy a gallon of milk now. I have 4 kids, 3 of them teenagers. We go through a gallon of milk A DAY! That’s over $120 a month on MILK!!! Damn eco-freaks stealing all the cows’ corn. It just ain’t right. I can’t afford to buy milk so now my kids’ bones won’t grow right and then those damn eco-freaks can just pay for the doctors when all my kids’ bones break because they can’t get enough milk.
(Sorry for the rant…can you tell I just got back from the grocery store?)
