it’s been three hours since I last had my puke/other end duet. Woo hoo! I’ve held liquids inside me for three hours!

I had fallen back asleep, and then work called to check on me (yes, I had left a message calling in sick). I feel guilty calling in because Co-worker E is on vacation this week, and there was lots to do before Bosslady is out having surgery in a couple days. But there’s just no way I can go to work when I’m shooting liquid out of so many orifices. I haven’t been sick in probably a decade or longer (sick does not include colds). It turns out I’m a big baby when I don’t feel good.

I am so weak. I got up to take the garbage and recyclables out to the curb. That did me in. For variety, instead of climbing back into bed, I’m holding down the chair. And I’ve been drinking RTY’s Gatorade because last time she was sick on our watch, that’s what her doctor told us to give her to drink. I called my MIL and asked her to buy me more Gatorade on her way back home. My head is throbbing but I’m reluctant to take any Advil because with no food inside me, that’ll just further insult my tummy.

I’m hoping to get some energy to put a DVD in the player. But the DVDs are way over there, and the DVD player is way over there, and I’m here. You can see the problem.
