Scribblings and bibblings; bibblings and scribblings.

With the recent addition of a pool table to our home decor, I am amazed at how full our house looks. Why, it actually looks like adults live in our house; adults who care about having furniture. Our big empty great room is no longer empty. That one addition really filled the room up and makes it look like a room should look: functional. Truly, our house feels more grown up to me now.

Naturally, this has caused me to be aware of furniture we would prefer. For instance, I hate the dining room table. I look forward to replacing it in the next year. Also, I think our billiard room / living room would benefit from one of these stylish grandfather clocks. I am pretty sure I mentioned before that I would like to have a grandfather clock, and about the pseudo-grandfather clock I had in my first (thank God it’s over) marriage. I found this really cool grandfather clock / water fountain:

I love that it is not traditional and leans toward the modern side of design. We love the soothing sounds of running water, so I think it’s so cool to combine the clock with a water feature. The color matches the tile we have throughout the house, too.

If you’re in the market, there are also great Howard Miller clocks and less extravagant wall clocks on the website.

I have them bookmarked since I would love to purchase a sophisticated clock in the not-too-distant future.
