is our ability to be spontaneous. Not everyone is capable of spontaneity. I can understand, I guess. VW Bug and family are in town paying their respects to the rat. She very kindly emailed me last week with their arrival and departure dates, as well as where they are staying. That makes for easy stalking. But then I was run over by that mack truck on Friday, which took prime stalking days off the table. And since I remember how much fun she had last year when both boys were puking, I didn't want to try to get together and possibly get her boys sick. So I didn't call her until this evening to see if I could fit into their schedule. We talked on the phone (yes, it's true, I am capable of talking on the phone) for a few minutes, and she said she would call me maybe tomorrow to see if we could get together. Cool, we're easy going. Not two minutes later, she called back, "how about tonight?" Sure. I threw my clothes back on (what can I say, I start shedding as soon as I think we're in for the night) and we headed out. It is so out of character for us to go out... on a work night... at 8p. **gasp!** Fortunately, the place they're staying at is right near Sea World, which is not far at all from Pereiraville. We made it there in under twenty minutes. Tater and Tot were already fast asleep, but Bug and Hubby and sherlock and I had a good time chatting. It's hard to believe it's been two years already since we first met in person. VW, thanks for having us over tonight. It was great to just sit and talk with both of you. And I swear, I will never, ever speak of the QuackAss again!
