Sherlock’s costume for Halloween is awesome! The sister of his best friend is a seamstress and has been diligently working on the costume. It’ll be his best costume that I’ve seen him in.

Meanwhile, I have an idea about what I’d like to be for Halloween, but I still find myself perusing my options online at one of the Halloween Costume Stores. Clearly I should have picked my costume out while I was still gainfully employed. That way, by now, I would have received my costume already, and I could have taken advantage of the free shipping. It’s not too late for you, though. Free shipping on orders over $60 is good until tomorrow. So, if you’re planning on coming to our on-again (off-again) Halloween party (we’ll have it, we’ll just likely have to ask you to bring a dish to share as we won’t have cash lying around to put out the normal spread), there’s still time for you to find your perfect costume and order it.

I wanted to dress as one of the American Gladiators, specifically Hellga, but I just don’t know if I have the self-confidence to pull of such a skimpy outfit. And, frankly, I don’t have the money to spring for it anyway. So, I will probably just recycle a costume from Halloween past. And that’s okay, too.

Oooh! I could be Sarah Palin this year! That’d be easy to pull off with my current wardrobe.

i told boy it was his turn to come up with costume ideas since everyone scoffed at mine last year. i don’t think he’s come up with any yet. and we don’t have a box of old costumes laying around that we can just grab and go. i might just be me. *shudders*
