thirty-one years
July 1st, 2008 at 05:40 pm by wRitErsbLock in UncategorizedI am thirty-one years old. I just received my first ever snake bite. She tagged me in protest to me catching her. I can’t say I blame her. She managed to get a full spread on her jaw so that all four fangs made contact with the back of my hand. I’m impressed.
Have you seen my camera? We couldn’t find it to take her picture. It seems a pity to receive a bite and not have a picture of the biter to show for it. And I’m quite disconcerted about not knowing where my camera is.

she’s a black racer. we’ve caught her before. usually once a year. she’s so pretty. probably three feet long. very pretty snake.
