Last Saturday, I came home, showered, and got horizontal on the couch. I napped the rest of the afternoon. I only got up to eat dinner and to move to the bedroom to sleep some more.

Today, yes, I’m achey. Yes, I can hardly walk from stiffness. But, I’ve remained mostly awake (there were a few minutes during the last movie that I felt myself drifting). I have been up to wash dishes and to walk shuffle around the house. I have been taking advil, as usual, every four hours.

I still feel pretty good overall, just sore everywhere. That’s to be expected. Twenty is considerably more than two, so I expect my body to complain.

I am just so proud of myself. I cannot express how proud I am! To take someone as slothful and lazy as me and turn me into someone who’s on the cusp of running a marathon, well, it’s amazing!

Not to mention I’m doing this while battling my seasonal depression while unemployed.
