Let’s say it with music, Maybe This Time from the great musical Cabaret. Here’s a version from the revival with Natasha Richardson (RIP), and Alan Cumming, whom I love.

I was actually looking for the version of Maybe This Time that Kristen Chenoweth did with Lea Michelle on Glee a few weeks ago, but I can’t find a video version, just the sound. And since I adore Kristen Chenoweth — I think she’s adorable and mostly love her voice — I wanted to be able to watch her sing it. But, I’m done searching, so here’s the audio. It’s a slightly massacred version of this fabulous song, which can be forgiven because I adore Kristen Chenoweth.

Maybe tomorrow will be karaoke night and I’ll do my version for my own catharsis. I do love butchering Broadway classics.
