For My Viewing Pleasure
July 1st, 2010 at 04:12 pm by wRitErsbLock in Salve for the Soul, Some Fun Now!, You call this entertaining?this person sneaks a video camera into shows and records them, then posts them online without identifying them, I assume to keep from having his material yanked. But it makes it difficult to identify sometimes. So, I’m going to go ahead and make a directory for myself so I can come clicky when I have time to watch what I want to watch.
Broadway musicals:
In the Heights (which, truth be told, I have zero desire to see, based on the music I’ve heard) is video 11
Billy Elliott (which I also have no desire to see) is video 10
Sunset Blvd is video 9
Next To Normal is video 7 (I’ve never heard of this one before)
Young Frankenstein is video 5. Sweet!
Little Mermaid is video 4
I’m not a huge fan of the idea of turning Disney cartoon movies into plays.
NO CLUE! I’ll have to watch this and then research to figure out wth video 3 is.
Les Mis! is video 2
Rent is video 1
Beauty and the Beast Blech. So not a fan.
Spring Awakening that I’ve already linked to here.
The Pirate Queen another I’ve not heard of
I think that’s everything I want to link to.

I hadn’t heard of “The Pirate Queen” before…but I’d like to see it despite the reviews it received per wikipedia. But it’s about one of my favorite historical figures, Grace (Grania) O’Malley. Bertrice Small wrote a series of fictional books on her life, starting with ‘Skye O’Malley’…my all-time favorite historical fiction series.
