I can’t imagine the stress
July 30th, 2010 at 09:26 am by wRitErsbLock in As the stomach turnsI can’t imagine the stress my dad and Lukie must be feeling over the CAL situation (mentioned in the previous post). I think the stress of an injured child completely counteracts any positive effects garnered from the best wrinkle creams. I’m just a step-mom, and I know how stressed out I get worrying about my kid’s health and safety. How much moreso when it’s your flesh and blood suddenly injured, with an ambiguous cause.
I’m be sending so many happy thoughts in CAL’s direction.
Scary stuff, that.

The stress of not knowing what to do on the scene was unreal. I had called several dentists in the past couple months and NO ONE wanted to even talk to me when I said I had no insurance. Several said payment up front and in full and then others were very generous with their offer of breaking the entire bill into thirds with a 30, 60 90 day system. When you have less then $100 room in the budget that is not an option and we had no access to money last night. NONE.
It is one thing if it had been medical, I could have taken him to the emergency room and then dealt with the bill after. It doesn’t work that way with dentists.
God was good and lead us to the right guy and we will see what happens next.
I have NEVER felt so helpless and worthless!
