While we were at Lowes this afternoon, we ran into Maria in the sprinkler isle. It was so good to see her! It’s been two years since I last saw her at J&C’s daughter’s birthday party. She looked great. She got her braces off, and she seems really happy. She bought a house and has a fabulous new career and a cute boyfriend. Good for her! We exchanged contact information and will have to get together. Surely it’s been long enough now since she and Tony divorced that we can resume our friendship. I’ve missed her so much. She and I got along in ways Tony’s current wife and I never have (or likely will, for that matter).
