I had not seen any commercials for Gardasil in quite some time. Tonight I have seen a commercial twice. They seem to be using older girls in the commercial now, like late teenaged years and adults. I was feeling better about the situation, and then a mom-type came on and said, “at your daughter’s back-to-school physical, ask about vaccinating your daughter. Your daughter can be one less.”

This commercial did make a point of reminding people that Gardasil does not protect against all types of cervical cancer. It glossed over the possible side effects.
