Halloween will mark our four year wedding anniversary. Planning our Halloween party makes me remember how great our Halloween wedding was. Best party ever! You can imagine our wedding was terribly lacking in traditional wedding pomp and circumstance. In fact, other than my wedding gown and RTY’s flower girl dress, there were no traditional wedding elements. I did not have a present for my maid of honor, sherlock did not get a groomsmen gift for his best man, we didn’t even have wedding bands in time for the ceremony (we got those in January 2004).

I love that we continue to not be a traditional couple. That’s part of what sparks our magic.

I’ll be skipping school for our anniversary this year. It’s more important to be home with my husband, scaring the neighborhood children.
