Amanda frequently posts funny things Brandon says over on her site. Here are a couple I captured from him yesterday and today:

Last night (okay, it was after midnight, so this morning)…
Brandon to mommy: why are we sleeping here?
Amanda: remember I told you we have a surprise tomorrow? Well, we can’t do the surprise if we go home. It’s too far away.

Moments later, when mommy was out of ear shot…
Brandon to sherlock: why are you sleeping here?
sherlock: because I live here.

It seems Amanda kept telling him they were going to wRitErsbLock’s house, and not sherlock’s house. I was amused.

This morning while Brandon was eating cereal…
Me: Oh my goodness, are you eating Apple Jacks?
Brandon: mmm-hmm.
Me: I looove Apple Jacks!
B: me too! We got them at Publix.
M: Really?
B: I saw you at Publix.
M: Did you really? (this is not possible as his Publix is in Miami, and I have never shopped there)
B: Yup.
M: I didn’t see you.
B: You were far away, but I saw you.
M: Oh, I must have had my back turned and that’s why I didn’t see you.
B: Yea, you had your back turned.
M: Next time you’ll have to get my attention and say hello.
B: Okay.
