the danger of Gardasil
January 4th, 2008 at 11:21 pm by wRitErsbLock in UncategorizedLukie sent me this link that I later found on cnn’s site, too. The timing of this article goes along with a lot of people finding my site by searching for various search terms including Gardasil, and with two recent comments. I drew your attention to a comment last week; today I received a new comment on that post that I’d like to draw your attention to at the end of this post.
Health officials have touted the Gardasil vaccine as an important new protection against a cancer-causing sexually transmitted virus. In recent months, they’ve also noted reports of pain and fainting from the shot.
I feel so sorry for the girls who were duped into getting this shot before proper research was done on it, but I am pleased the MSM is finally starting to report on the dangerous side effects.
The pain is short-lived, girls say; many react with little more than a grimace. But some teens say it’s uncomfortable driving with or sleeping on the injected arm for up to a day after getting the shot.
And some girls suffer really scary side effects.
Meanwhile, U.S. health officials have noticed a rise in reports of vaccine-associated fainting in girls. From 2002-2004 there were about 50 reports of fainting; from 2005 until last July, there were about 230. About 180 of those cases followed a shot of Gardasil, which came on the market in 2006.
But it’s not clear that Gardasil’s sting is related to the fainting increase, said Dr. Barbara Slade, an immunization safety specialist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
I’m sure it’s purely coincidental that all these previously healthy, non-fainting girls are suddenly prone to fainting. It can’t possibly be a result of the poison Gardasil injection. ::rolls eyes::
This comment was left on my December 28th post:
(as usual, the emphasis is my own)
as like others i also had two daughters who only got 1 out of a series of three shots. both of my daughter s are experiencing the same things bad headaches my oldest daughter was hospitalized for paralasis of the legs the diaognosis was guillian baree syndrome. both girls have been fainting and not being able to eat much food before feeling like they are going to pop but i contacted an attourney about this so please document everything if i had known then what i know now i would never have given my daughters this shot tell every girl you know.
Terri, I am so sorry for your daughters and for all girls and women who have suffered ill effects from this supposed miracle cure for cervical cancer. I hope more and more women research Gardasil fully before subjecting themself and their daughters to this toxin.
And I keep hoping my step-daughter’s mother doesn’t suddenly decide to poison my step-daughter.
I will be thinking happy thoughts for your daughters.
(for new visitors searching for information on Gardasil, I have a Gardasil category in my sidebar)

My 17 y.o. healthy daughter was given her second Gardasil shot in the end of January 2008. Immediately thereafter, she had abdominal issues for about six weeks. By the end of March, she began having seizures. She had CT scans, MRI’s, EEG, 24 hour EEG and she is currently hospitalized at an epilepsy center for additional studies. All of which have been normal. Doctors are labeling my daughter as “stressed”. I have voiced my concerns regarding Gardasil, however, I was told that there is no medical proof to support that my daughter’s seizures are a result of the Gardasil shot, as the shot is so new and there is no information available.
My daughter has no more “stress” than any other 17 y.o. girl.
We are desperate for help.
Any information, please email me at Jodispeaks@aol.com.
Thank you.
