My brain is not quite awake yet this morning. We were out last night at a dinner / annual members meeting for our credit union. Dinner was very tasty (and FREE!), and the entertainment after the meeting was really, really funny. I had a great time. It was almost like a date.

Meanwhile, I’ve been wondering about that young girl who ran out of gas the other day. It’s hard to talk to strangers, and having a stranger in your car is awkward. What do you talk about? I told her about the time my battery died in the parking lot for my insurance agent while I was inside paying my monthly bill. The agent refused to come outside and jump start my vehicle. That irritated the crap out of me. They’re my agent, shouldn’t they be more inclined to help me? Anyway, after that I started calling around for auto insurance quotes. I was dismayed to discover my lack-of-customer-service company had me at a fabulous rate no one else could touch.
