We canceled our normal Friday activity because my poor husband, who I love so much, is not healthy. He is crashed out on the chair, oh, he’s awake, but not entirely alert. He’s coughing and achey. My poor hubby. I made him chicken soup with some fresh chopped ginger in it. It was a pretty decent soup considering how little actual ingredients went into it.

Tomorrow we need to grocery shop. Desperately. It’s been slim pickings around Pereiraville this week. We discovered a Publix Sabor last Sunday (is where we were going when I got my great-for-the-budget speeding ticket). It’s a Spanish grocery store, which means full of Spanish items. We found it on accident, along with a Super Wal-Mart we didn’t even know existed. All because I decided to go straight instead of turning just to see. One block more, and we hit civilization. We were shocked. These stores are so close to our house, yet we never even knew they existed. It was like Amanda discovering a playground right by her house.

We’re also planning to take my MIL to see Penelope tomorrow. That’s one of the free movie passes we received from my credit union.
