Nothing like having company from out of town to motivate a person to finish the painting project they started. I had purchased a much darker shade of gray paint for the game room wall two weekends ago, but have been disinclined to paint. But, since my brother arrives Thursday night, I decided I needed to finish that project.

I also painted the background of the dust collecting shelf on the music wall. That’s the wall you see when you spy on us. Eventually, I will get up there and paint music notes in the slightly lighter shade of gray that we have. The music notes will be subtle. But I’ll have to create stencils for that project. And decide if I want to paint the staff lines or not. Probably not, as it will be too cluttered.
