This is the first I have been online all day today. Without any ill side effects!

Jason, Geta, and Ethan came over during breakfast. After telling me they were going to stop and get something on the way, they showed up and then didn’t even say anything about NOT stopping on the way, so there I was feeding my husband and kid and self, and making them watch us eat, assuming they had already eaten. After we were done, Jason asked me to cook for him and said they didn’t stop. Made me feel like a schmuck.

Ethan ate four of our ice cream bananas, cut off the tree first thing this morning for them. The ice cream bananas are quite good. Our first harvest in the two years since we planted our ice cream banana tree.

We hit IKEA. We hit Millenia Mall. We hit Cold Stone for ice cream. We had steak, potatoes, broccoli for dinner here at home.

I caught a fish in the lake. It was Ethan’s first time fishing. He was scared of my fish. I’m glad I caught one for him, even though he’s too young to remember, and even though it escaped before we could take its picture.

Now they’re gone. They’re getting on a plane before I’ll be awake.

I’m so glad they came. I miss them already.
