I need to plan better for lunches at work when we’re scootering to get here. Sherlock prefers I not come see him at lunch time, as has become my habit, when I’m on my scooter. He is concerned about my safety, and rightly so. The road I have to take, 17-92, to get to him is an absolute bear in lunch rush hour. I see accidents on that stretch at least once a week, if not more often. Frankly, the thought of navigating that stretch in lunch rush is completely unappealing. So, we are not lunching together, which I hate.

The good thing: last week I ordered a pizza for delivery and ate pizza all week for lunch. I could live on pizza. My husband loathes pizza, so we never, ever eat pizza. It’s very sad.

Since I did not plan on lunches yet this week, I went ahead and ordered myself a pizza again. See above where I said I could live on pizza. It’s one of those foods for me. Doritos is another.

The bad thing: I now need to utilize some of my dust-collecting exercise equipment to counteract the negative effects of all the carbs I’m consuming that I would not ordinarily consume. Then again, I have been more active at work recently because I’m charged with going through everything and disposing of trash. We have a lot of trash. So I have been making lots of trips to the dumpster loaded with heavy garbage cans, boxes, and arm loads of crap.

A fifteen minute walk a day can do more then you think. Give it a try, once it becomes a habid you will start to make longer walks.
