The evil that is Gardasil is never far from my mind, since the commercials are never far from my television, but I have not ranted about it in a while. I am always happy to see I have probably ten hits a day from people searching for information about Gardasil I am thrilled, then, to receive comments on my older Gardasil posts from women and girls sharing their horror stories, and especially when someone reads a post and the horror stories and decide to either not get the shots at all, or not complete the series of three shots.

Occasionally I follow the search terms that lead to my humble little corner of the interwebs and see what other sites come up. Today, one of the search terms lead me to Evil Slutopia’s Ten things you might not know about Gardasil and their follow up Ten more things you might not know about Gardasil.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again: GARDASIL IS TOO NEW. Don’t let yourself, your wife, your daughter, your sister, or your niece be a guinea pig. The risks are too great.

  1. Roxie Fiste Said,

Hi: We know first hand about the horrors of Gardasil- our daughter had just taken the second shot when she began to have problems with pressure in her head, followed by assending leg pain, burning prickles in her head, legs and scalp, swelling of her face and neck, and terrible fatigue. We have seen numerous specialists, been to Cleveland Clinic where only one doctor seemed concerned- the rest of the teams used her as an experiment. That was over six months ago. She is waiting on more results from more testing before another specialist might be able to help her. In the meantime, she is bedridden, she drags her right leg when she walks, her fatigue is chronic along with the horrible pain and sweilling in her arms, hands, face, legs and back. She had to drop out of college and all other activities as well as she used to be quite busy and loved to hike, exercise, etc… No one is willing to admit that she is suffering from side effects of Gardasil, but we know she is since she was doing great before that second shot. But what do we know? If only our family doctor hadn’t told her that she could get the HPV even if she wasn’t sexually active…
Guess you could say we’re pretty angry and frustrated these days since our daughter can only eat baby food once a day due to that aweful nasea that goes along with those other symptoms!
