Scribblings and bibblings; bibblings and scribblings.

Ever since our one night camping trip to Jacksonville a few months ago, I have been seeking additional gear to add to my camping stuff. Of course, I have also been trying to determine when and where my next camping trip will be. I am also more aware of what other people have, like, for instance, those canvas wall tents the insane people in the cul-du-sac had set up for their massive party on Independence Day.

I am really quite pleased with the little tent we picked up on clearance. It was easy to assemble and disassemble, it fit back in the bag it came in (you know that never happens!), and it holds three people. As a family of three, that works out well. But I need to get a portable stove, another lantern, cooking utensils, sleeping bags, an air mattress would be nice… really, all we have is a tent and one lantern. We need everything else.

And, yes, I do a lot of my dreaming and shopping online. Nowadays, doesn’t everyone shop online? I love websites that carry items I never even knew I needed! Just like my insatiable need for power tools, I crave the latest and greatest camping gear. Damn my tight budget!

Ooh! I was at a big box store recently and saw they make a little ceiling fan to put in the top of the tent! I need that! Come on, you know I do, since I live in Florida, and therefore am most likely to camp in Florida.

RTY wants to come with us on our next camping trip. Sadly, it will have to wait until it’s not Summer in Florida outside; it’s just too hot to camp right now.
