   We’re used to rain over here. Anything more serious than that though, and the whole country comes to a standstill.

   Just google the phrases ‘the wrong kind of leaves’ or ‘the wrong kind of snow’, when it comes to our rail network coming to a complete halt.

   There’s a lot of Brit bashing going on over at Wachel’s site right now and you know what, I totally agree with them. We’re hopeless, these days. I’d want to be American instead even if I didn’t have an American fiance. The British government’s response to a hurricane would probably be to hand out umbrellas two weeks after the event, because they all obviously had to be safety-tested, first.

   Anyways, now that I’ve vented, I hope that you all get through the bad weather (understatement alert!) safely.
