Five or six weeks ago, RTY’s mother went down to Colombia. She was going for two, maybe three weeks. Apparently she had some sort of medical procedure done (place your bets on which cosmetic surgery it was, since she previously had liposuction done in Colombia, and then developed a nasty infection after). Two or three weeks turned into four… five… and I think this is week six. RTY was excited her mother was coming home this coming Saturday. Only, apparently not.

I don’t know what surgery she had, but two weeks ago, I heard there was a problem with the stitches.

And now, she’s not coming home this weekend, either. More complications.

Folks, I have no love for the egg donor, but on behalf of a scared little girl, please think happy thoughts for the egg donor as she recovers from some botched surgery in a third world country. RTY misses her mother. And since we are in the dark about what exactly she had done down there, we cannot begin to speculate and help ease RTY’s fears.

So, please, happy thoughts.

Seriously, though, don’t go to a farookin third world country for surgery! It’s a bad call!
